England's recently experiencing a what I would assume is a Spring-like weather at the moment and I'm loving it. It makes me really excited for more sunny days (here's to hoping that actually happens).Knowing the customary Spring weather here in the UK though, this sunshine would probably not last long so I took advantage and filmed a video and also shot some photos for the diary.Being inspired by the weather and the daffodils that dad got me, I decided to film a 'Spring Wardrobe & Make-up Must Haves' based on my personal style. The pieces showcased here are the ones I can see myself sporting a lot for the next few weeks. Watch the video above for more of my 'Spring Must Have' picks :) Hope you enjoy xo
Saturday, March 8, 2014Week Review #4(weekly dose of brownies)(Snowy cocooning himself to sleep, cream and simple, monochrome vs. rainbow, Spring vibes)
(Pancake Day/Shrove Tuesday)(train life, Noah's friends, selfie with Audrey, train life 2.0)
(starting to feel like Spring)

Friday, March 7, 2014February FavouritesAmazing colour range, amazing formula, amazing price. Need I say more?
(Burberry 'Weekend' Eau de Parfum - Boots)It smells like Spring without smelling like a garden, with also a hint of freshness and truly lasts for hours. The packaging is also so simple yet sleek and only £15. Talk about bargain!
Best winter boots EVER! It goes with everything and never disappoints with protection from puddles, slush and other harsh terrains.Weird and almost impossible, sometimes also hard tasks just to 'Wreck' a journal. I love the challenge :D
Hydraluron has definitely helped my skin retain moisture more therefore it reeks oil less and thus requires less touch-ups during the day and so less product usage for the face, which is always good and healthier for the skin.La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo has reduced the redness, scars and other imperfections on my skin in due time.My skin definitely thanks me for these two items and I thank whoever invented them for their miraculousness.

Other than blogging, I also have a list of other affinities: watching Youtube videos and films.
3 successful Youtubers and real life bestfriends (the Holy Trinity) take their friendship on screen with this comedic and heart warming film. Camp Takota was so fun and definitely worth a watch for gal pals and besties out there. It's emotional and funny and all about friendship, with booze, men and sassy girls too, what more can you ask for?
12 Years A Slave has already won countless accolades including 'Best Film' at the 2014 BAFTAs & Oscars and if that doesn't scream to you 'AMAZING AMAZING FILM' then I don't know what will.
I cried and cried and cried some more throughout the film. Gawped at how amazing the acting was from everyone especially Chiwetel Ejiofor, Michael Fassbender and Lupita Nyong'o. And I'm not even going to tell you how insanely amazing and powerful the story is because the nominations for countless awards should already tell you that. Just watch it, trust me!
The BEST popcorn EVER! All the flavours are insanely amazing especially the Smoked Cheddar. It brings me back to the Philippines in those trips out to the mall to go and watch a film with a large cheesy popcorn in tow. England doesn't do other flavours besides the classic salt and sweet ones that's why I went ballistic after trying this. Plus the business is also local (based in Devon) therefore even more amazing. Not sure if they stock else where in the country though as I've only seen them in and around Devon area but if you ever come across them then definitely try it :)(Vsco Cam)Vsco Cam is a photo editing app I found out through reading a blog post and it just shows you how influential bloggers and blog posts are because this app is just amazing. The app is free but the filters aren't although it comes with pre-filters already. There are more in store which can be bought from £0.69p up to £1.50, so not even dear at all and I can vouch and say that the filters are better than other photo editing apps I've tried and definitely better than Instagram filters. Vsco, on it's own is like Instagram already where you can follow people and see their photos and you, yourself can post photos on your grid which is like your feed on Instagram except that it more photographic and 'expert-like' atmosphere. I really do love it.
Sunday, March 2, 2014Week Review #3(always waiting at the train station, clear winter sky, relaxing in the bath with my current read (The Book Thief), rikyandnina office)(throwback to Spring in Paris)(red velvet cake)(overgrown at work, the sea in winter, hail snow, sore throat selfie)

Tuesday, February 25, 2014the orange one
(necklace - H&M, top, skort, tights - Primark, lips - Revlon ColorBurst Matte balm in Audacious via Boots, shoes - New Look, watch - Casio via Asos, bracelets - Topshop)For those of you who have seen my video, you would've recognized the skort and maybe the top I'm wearing in this post as I wore it for the video too. I shot the two together in a day (yay to productiveness!) changing lipstick and necklace so it doesn't look like it (now you know my secret haha).Anyways, I love, I mean REALLY LOVE this skort. I already love the said 'skort' style ala Zara, well I love my blue one (see here) but as you know if you read the text in that post, the zipper of that broke so it wasn't really my favourite. I spotted the black one in Primark and nabbed it as soon as since it was also on sale. Then a few days later I saw this one among the rails and my jaw dropped, my eyes widened and my brain went into overload with excitement.I love bright colours and I love 'the' skort and so picking this number up was a no brainer at all. Always a pleasure to wear something bright and bold during winter just to break through the chill even if it's just in wearing something colourful :)Hope you have a fab week lovelies, let me know your thoughts on 'the' skort down below :) xo
